FCB Executive Committee Meeting Minutes May 17, 2024

An Executive Committee Meeting was held prior to the Preconvention Board Meeting on Friday, May 17, 2024.  The meeting began at 4:37 PM.    Executive Committee members  in attendance were: Sheila Young, President; Mikey Wiseman, 1st Vice-President; Sally Benjamin, Membership Secretary; Mark Lear, Treasurer; and Mary Tyson, Recording Secretary.  Cassandra Jessie, 2nd Vice-President was in attendance via Zoom.  Also in attendance was FCB Administrative Assistant, Kati Lear.

Unfinished Business:

Minutes of the May 11, meeting were not yet available and will be voted on at an upcoming meeting.

Any convention updates will be reviewed at the Preconvention Board Meeting following this meeting.

Sheila announced that the new chair for the Access Committee has been appointed and it is Paul Edwards.

New Business:

Nominating Committee procedure will be reviewed at the Preconvention Board Meeting. Sally will review the Credentials Meeting procedure and report on eligibility.

Sheila is the delegate and Mikey is the alternate for the upcoming ACB convention.

ACB has asked if we plan to provide any door prizes for the national convention.  Mikey made a motion that we allocate $100 to be divided into four $25 door prizes.  Motion was seconded by Cassandra. Motion carried.  

Mark is to call the main ACB office and advise of our donation and send the money directly to them.  

Motion to adjourn was made by Mikey and seconded by Mary.  The meeting was adjourned at 4:45 PM.
