Executive Committee Meeting Minutes 
September 1, 2026

The meeting was called to order by President, Mikey Wiseman on September 1, 2026, at 07:01 PM. Present were President Mikey Wiseman; 2nd Vice President, Shelley Sawyer; Recording Secretary, Elizabeth Bowden; Membership Secretary, Chantale Napier; and Treasurer, Sheila Young.  1st Vice President, Cassandra Jessie was excused.    

Sheila Young motioned that minutes from August 4 be approved.  Shelley Sawyer seconded the motion which was not opposed.  

The board meeting date has been changed to October 30, 2026.  

Representatives from the Able Trust Grant have contacted us for the purpose of participating in a future community call. 

Florida is still part of  the FLORIDA V KENNEDY lawsuit.  It is one of about three remaining states.  

The battle of the boards, ACB V FCB game is scheduled for October 24, 2026, at 3:00 PM and everyone is urged to participate.  

The ACB host Committee has been appointed.  The members from Jacksonville are DJ. Hansard, Toni Burrell, Gloria Simmons and Jeanne Struhar.  Mikey Wiseman, Sheila Young and Chantale Napier will represent the executive committee.  ACB should be visiting Jacksonville and may need assistance from us.   

Mary Tyson is the chair of the technology committee. 

Mikey and Sheila will contact Mark Web regarding our Merrill Lynch account activity.    

We have been asked by Ricardo Salazar to make sure all members are aware of the service provided by “menus for all”.  

There being no other items of business, Sheila Young motioned adjournment.  Shelley Sawyer seconded the motion which was unopposed.  Adjournment time is 07:56 PM.
