The Miami-Metro Chapter 28 rotates their meetings between the Miami Lighthouse and Denny’s. They meet on the second Friday of each month from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM. They generally have an informative guest speaker and share a meal. This is an active and close-knit chapter which is made up of 64 members who range in age from 24 to 91. They plan a social gathering during holiday seasons and have at least 2 fundraising activities annually. They advocate for equal access and better transportation. In addition to all this, their chorus is something to behold and hear!

Meetings

The Miami Lighthouse for the Blind is located on the corner of Southwest 8th Avenue and Southwest 7th Street. Their address is 601 SW 8th Ave. Denny’s is located at 1450 NE Miami Gardens Dr.
