Meeting Minutes
April 16, 2025

President Mikey Wiseman called the meeting to order at 08:02 PM.
Present were President Mikey Wiseman; 1st Vice President, Cassandra Jessie; 2nd Vice President, Shelley Sawyer; Recording Secretary, Elizabeth Bowden; Treasurer, Mark Lear; Membership Secretary, Sally Benjamin; and Immediate Past President, Sheila Young.  
Administrative Assistant Kati Lear joined the meeting as a guest.

Mikey had two items of business to discuss.
The first item of business was the selection of someone to work on our 990-n submission information and forms for Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to bring us in to compliance to retain our 601-c3 status.  Two proposals were presented.  Seth McMillon can bring us up to date for $3,000.00.  John Dickinson quoted a price of $1,755.00 to get us in to compliance with more being needed if necessary depending how many years he might need to file for.  John also asked that a limited power of attorney be signed to allow him to look at forms that have been filed on the IRS web page.  After some discussion Sheila Young motioned that we have John Dickinson do the work.  The motion was seconded by Shelley Sawyer and was unopposed.  Mikey will contact the individuals concerned to complete this task.  

The second item of business was an alternate to attend ACB National convention as Mikey will not be able to attend.  Elizabeth Bowden or Mark Lear will attend after they investigate their options.  Mikey will contact them tomorrow to make the selection.  

No other items of business were discussed.  Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Sally Benjamin and seconded by Sheila Young.  The meeting was adjourned at 08:20 PM.
