THE FCB POST-CONVENTION MEETING
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE CONVENTION MEETING
JUNE 6th, 2004
TAMPA, FL
President Paul Edwards called the meeting to order at 12 NOON. A quorum was established. This meeting mostly consisted of
announcements.
Membership Secretary Linda Jacobson reminded all of the Board Representatives that they were to get their e-mail addresses to her as
soon as possible.
President Paul said that the next Board Meeting is scheduled for the Sheraton Safari Hotel in Orlando on November 12th through the
15th. He said he planned to concentrate on educating the Board Representatives as to their responsibilities toward FCB regarding the
chapter assessments. He expects to clarify just what the assessments are and why they are necessary. He hopes to have better
communication with the chapters in all areas.
Gayle Krause talked about the need to publicize the various scholarships that FCB has available. We were asked to e-mail Paul with
any ideas about expanding this publicity.
President Paul then thanked everyone for voting for him and for the Representatives continued assistance in issues that concern all blind
people throughout the state.
This meeting was adjourned at 12:20 PM.
