Executive Committee Meeting
December 2, 2025
The meeting was called to order by President Mikey Wiseman at 07:09 PM.
Present were President Mikey Wiseman; 1st Vice President, Cassandra Jessie; 2nd Vice President, Shelley Sawyer; Recording Secretary, Elizabeth Bowden; Membership Secretary, Sally Benjamin; Treasurer, Mark Lear; and Immediate Past President, Sheila Young. Administrative Assistant Kati Lear and Koni Sims attended as guests and approximately twenty-five members joined the meeting opened for members.
Shelley Sawyer motioned to approve minutes of November 4. The motion was seconded by Mark Lear and passed unopposed.
Updates
Mark Lear reported that the Walmart roundup has been completed. Instructions to give will be posted on the mailing list as soon as the process is checked.
Sheila Young spoke about the criteria and description of the award proposed by Cachet Wells and the awards committee. Cassandra Jessie motioned that the criteria and description of the award be accepted. The motion was seconded by Sally Benjamin. Cassandra Jessie withdrew her motion Sally Benjamin withdrew the second as well. This issue will be visited in January.
Tallahassee day update: Cassandra Jessie reported that the date for Tallahassee day is December 3. Four teams will be created. The teams will deliver informational packets. Members will be updated after the event.
Discussion about Tallahassee day and communications with the executive committee via email.
Shelley Sawyer motioned meeting adjournment. The motion was seconded by Elizabeth Bowden. Meeting end time was 09:08 PM.
