FLORIDA COUNCIL OF CITIZENS WITH LOW VISION


BACKGROUND

Florida Council of Citizens with Low Vision (FCCLV) was organized in 1983 as an affiliate of the Florida Council of the blind. We are currently the largest affiliate in both CCLVI and FCB.

Special Low Vision programs are offered annually, discussing cutting-edge medical developments as well as practical aids to making life simpler for each and every member.

A quarterly newsletter, entitled The Viewpoint, focuses on local issues and concerns of Florida residents. It is available in large-print, tape, or e-mail format.

Additionally, when joining this organization, you become a member of the FCB as well as both parent organizations, the American Council of the Blind and the Council of Citizens with Low Vision International.

Publications from all organizations come with membership.
